Apps

UpToDate Anywhere (public hospitals only)

Go to UpToDate (Ballarat & Wimmera) / UpToDate (Stawell, Edenhope and other public hospitals) from a work computer and click the Register button in the upper right corner of the screen to create your own username and password. In order to maintain uninterrupted access to UpToDate you must re-verify every 90 days (you will be prompted with an email). Simply go to UpToDate on any work computer and click the Log In button in the upper right corner of the screen.

Once you have registered you can download the App to your phone or access from any computer offsite by searching for UpToDate and logging in.

MIMS Mobile

Go to eMIMS from a work computer. Click on the 3 lines in the top right hand corner and "request a mobile token". Fill in all fields. Download eMIMS Plus from your app store. Hit "Login" then hit "Token" and use the mobile token received in your email.

BMJ Best Practice

Go to BMJ Best Practice from a work computer. Create a personal account. Use the username and password that you create to log in when you download the App to your phone.

BrowZine

Go to  BrowZine from a work computer and sign up to create your  BrowZine account which will give you access to the Web version and the App.  Download the App to your phone. Select Grampians Health from the dropdown menu and sign in with your GH Library OpenAthens username and password and log in with your newly created BrowZine details.

Therapeutic Guidelines

From a work computer sign up for an access token here. You will be emailed a token which can be used on only ONE device. When you have downloaded the app (temporary Android app here) choose "institutional user login" then log in using your email and your token.

To allow for full offline use, click the Cloud icon in the top right hand corner of the app and download content. Then locate the menu icon Image result for menu icon in the top left hand corner, choose settings and switch the app offline switch on. You will be prompted to download new content when the guidelines are updated.

BrowZine

Table of Contents

The Library sends out electronic Table of Contents (TOCs) from selected journals each time a new issue is published. To be added to TOC alerts, copy the title/s of the journals you want from the list below and email library@gh.org.au with your name and work email or fill in this form.

TOC alerts are available for most publications but please remember that direct full text access to articles from the TOC is only available from electronic journals that the Grampian Health Library subscribes to. For full text access directly from the TOC you will need a work email. See below for a list of TOC's currently on offer.

Evidence Updates

Want to keep up to date with new journals and books received in the Library? Our Evidence Update is published fortnightly. Our Paediatric Evidence Update is published monthly. To receive copies email library@gh.org.au with your name and work email and ask to be added to the Evidence Update and/or the Paediatric Evidence Update list. See below for some recent editions.
